Accurate Wire was formed in 1988 by Douglas
J. Milheim and Matthew B. Smith, with a combined total of over 60
years experience in manufacturing specialty wire. Originally founded
to manufacture square and round wire for electronic connector applications,
Accurate Wire expanded its equipment base to allow the production
of flat and special shaped wire.
Our 30,000 square foot facility, located in Branford, Connecticut
USA, gives us ample room for production equipment and material storage.
We design and build our own custom equipment, which gives us distinct
advantages over our competition in capabilities, quality, and costs.
Our present equipment base utilizes rolling mill, turkshead, wiredrawing,
and annealing technologies.
